5 Steps to Accomplish Your New Year’s Resolution!

Now that the New Year is here, it is important to stay on top of our goals! Sometimes life happens and we get thrown off track when it comes to our resolutions! Here are 5 tips to help you accomplish your New Years Resolutions!

  1. Be specific!
    To be effective, resolutions and goals need to be pretty specific. Don’t just say “I’m going to exercise more,”but instead,  “I’m working out at the gym Monday, Wednesday and Friday at 5:30 p.m”.
  2. Pick a new, realistic Diet Plan.
    It is important to choose a diet plan that you are truly able to stick to. No need to go extremes and cut out all carbs, all the time – but choose a plan that you will be able to eat on a daily basis! If you need ideas download our Teami Menu Guide 
  3. Print out copies of your resolutions.
    Save a copy on each computer or electronic device you own, such as your cell phone and laptop, work computer, etc. You can make a smaller copy and keep it in your wallet or post a copy on the outside of your refrigerator!
  4. Create a healthy environment.
    It’s also good to get rid of habits that don’t coincide with your goals and may contribute to you being able to reach them. For example: set your running shoes next to the door. Put fruits and veggies in the front of the fridge. Get rid of any junk food at home and don’t buy more.
  5. Cleanse & Detox!
