Overnight Oats With Figs
The most important meal of the day! Start off your 24 hrs with some easy overnight oats with figs!
As hectic as life gets, having breakfast already made for you when you wake up is so convenient. This quick and easy breakfast idea can be spiced up many different ways so you never get bored. From fruits to nuts, jam’s and spreads… you can have a different flavor every morning!
•1/4 cup quick oats
•1/2 cup unsweetened almond milk (or skim, soy)
•1/2 tbsp chia seeds
•1 fresh fig, sliced
•1 tbsp chopped pecans (or any nut)
•2 Tbsp of pomegranate arils
Place the oats, milk and chia seeds in a jar or a container with a lid; stir, cover and let it sit 1 to 2 hours, or refrigerate overnight.
Place in a bowl, (I prefer it room temp or you can heat it up) top with figs, pomegranates and chopped nuts.
